Running in the Poconos

Educated Running has partnered with Ketanga Fitness, a company that organizes fitness vacations in travel destinations throughout the world, to offer you a fitness retreat in the Pocono Mountains!


Trip Summary
Ideal for runners of all levels, this program has been designed to be personalized and tailored to each individual’s goals and needs while maintaining a social and fun group retreat environment. Join coaches Jose Miranda and Patrick Hammond on this retreat to improve your running, meet like-minded people, and enjoy a relaxing weekend getaway.

Cost: $597 - per person in shared room, $697 - private room, $1067 - per couple (1 bed)

  • NOT included: transportation to/from/in the Poconos. We can help coordinate car pools.

The Fitness
Scenic trail runs, strengthening exercises, thoughtful drills, and meaningful discussions will help you become a better, more educated, and more efficient runner. Each morning, the coaches will take you through a lesson and guided trail run to put our learnings into practice. In the evenings, the sessions are discussion-based with a different focus each day to exercise the mind as well as the body. All  levels of runners are welcome and will be accommodated!

The Retreat
Guests of the retreat will enjoy quiet accommodations at the Mountaintop Lodge, a bed and breakfast in the heart of the Poconos.  Each room has unique character and comfortable amenities! On-site there is a coffee shop, a beautiful lawn (where we will do some of our workouts), and a relaxing porch for reading or chatting with new friends.

As part of the retreat, you have access to the Lake Naomi Club and can spend your free time at the pool, beach, or relaxing at the B&B. Additionally, activities such as tennis, biking, or kayaking, can be easily arranged!
